Silent People’s debut album “Yours Truly” throws a party for the lonely hosts, golden babes, drunkards, weirdos and the sunrise on a Sunday: A cocktail of glitter and hangover. The band plays alternative rock based on synth and sampling, drums, guitar, keys, vocals and an ocean of dynamic explosions and peculiar sounds.

Yours Truly has been in the making since Easter of 2012. The band met at a residence in the countryside of eastern Jutland. From the very start their ambition was to create an album with a concise narrative: A theme binds the individual songs together as a whole. Yours Truly tells the story of a party. At this party there’s drinking games, devotion, communion, euphoric confusion and at the very end a new beginning. The album contains bogus ballads, daring dance hits, synth hymns, explosive noise rock and blurred improvised passages.

Improvisation plays an important part in the process of giving life to ideas, themes and theories. Many of the songs have their origins in recordings of long jam sessions. Different parts were selected and developed into the songs on the album.
  The album was recorded and mixed by Asger Christensen (Powersolo, Navneløs & The Broken Beats) in Aarhus Lydstudie. All the main tracks were recorded in the same session to preserve the timing, energy and little imperfections from the rehearsal room. Alan Douches (Animal Collective, Beach House LCD Soundsystem) from West West Side Music has mastered the album.
  Yours Truly will be released on the 23rd of March 2016 digitally as well os on mug. Before the release the band has published the singles “Golden Babe” and “In Bulk”. The latter being accompanied by a crazy and self-made video.
